Virtual Camp with Crew 758

Crew 758 is pleased to offer a virtual merit badge seminar during the week of January 25-29. Each evening will consist of merit badge instruction between the hours of 6 pm and 9 pm.

Our virtual programs will run using Zoom as a platform for instruction and discussion. Two adults will be present for each Zoom session and scouts will be expected to participate and leave their cameras on for the sake of their instructors. Merit badge programs will use Google Classroom as a tool to assign work and to receive homework from scouts (i.e., writing projects, reports of activities, etc). Each scout must have his/her own Gmail account in order to use Google classroom.

Registration will open December 20th; there is no fee for participation in the program. Registration is on a first come, first served basis. Please check back as this page will be updated as information solidifies.

The schedule for the Winter Virtual Camp is

6:00 – 6:50 pm Chess; Citizenship in the World; Signs, Signals, and Codes
8:00 – 8:50 pm Game Design; Inventing; Sustainability

Please direct questions to info@scoutcampatairy.org.
